D&A Sapsed is a fifth generation family run farming and agricultural contracting business. Originally from North Hertfordshire, before moving to Manor Farm in Croydon, Royston in 1990. The business is managed by Michael and James Sapsed, who are supported by a highly qualified and skilled team of full time and seasonal staff.
Contracting has always been a key and core part of business. Whether it is whole farm contracts or single operations, each service is tailored to meet the specific requirements of the client. Every task is carried out with the same care and attention to detail, independent of its scale, with each operation being conducted as if the land was their own.
D&A Sapsed operate modern, efficient machinery and practices to maximise profitability whilst maintaining their core value of good soil husbandry, in order to care for your most important asset. This ethos led to the addition of precision manure spreaders to the contracting fleet, in order to fully optimise the value of organic products.
